Growing up in eastern Kentucky presents an opportunity to learn from some of the best old time, bluegrass, country and blues musicians in the world. Steeped in traditional bluegrass and gospel, Becki has been singing for as long as she can remember.
A preacher's kid, Becki sang in church from a young age, holding to her Momma's hand and soaking up the essence of each song. Singing harmony in a large family is a building block of Becki's foundation for the music she shares today.
Writing poetry and then song lyrics came easily to Becki from a young age. Several contests and publications later, she found life took her down a different path than that of music, but she rekindled her love of singing and songwriting when she took classes at the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music at Morehead State University, mid-2000's.
Fast forward a few years and she's performed on several albums, released her debut album, Three Mile Creek, traveled extensively and has begun work on two more albums, to be released later 2018, early 2019.
